AI potential assessment for Swiss SMEs

A clear assessment of where AI makes economic sense in your business. Prioritised by ROI and feasibility. In 1–2 days, at a fixed price.

  • A written assessment, not a slide deck
  • Prioritised by ROI × feasibility
  • 1–2 days on-site or remote
  • Fixed price CHF 5,000–15,000
  • A roadmap you can act on right away

This page is for you if you run a Swiss SME with 20–250 employees. Your people have long been using ChatGPT, Copilot or Claude. Privately, ungoverned, unchecked. And you yourself have no clear plan for where the real leverage sits in your business.

The AI potential assessment replaces the usual consulting theatre. No 80-page deck. No endless workshop. No fee trap. Instead, an assessment you read after 1–2 days: three to six concrete, prioritised use cases, each with an ROI indication and a feasibility score. Plus a clear recommendation on whether you build yourself, whether we implement together, or whether you need an on-prem setup because your data must not leave the business.

The only prerequisite: you want to decide. Not keep sitting it out.

Instead of consulting theatre

Classic strategy audits deliver 80-page decks and workshop tourism. We deliver an assessment after 2 days. Done. If you are looking for an 18-month transformation with 30 consultants, we are the wrong address. If you want a written assessment with clear prioritisation, the right one.

Instead of googling it yourself

Many SMEs start with ChatGPT tutorials and YouTube videos. That carries a single employee tool. For a business strategy it does not. An audit gives you the order in which you invest, before your money lands on the wrong tool.

Use-case examples

  • Tech SME: the audit shows that a coding copilot needs an on-prem fallback because the codebase is IP-sensitive. → On-prem setup
  • Classic SME: the audit shows that mail triage and quote preparation deliver 80% of the leverage. → AI automation
  • CXO: the audit delivers a decision framework for executive management. → ATHENA curriculum

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do I get?

A written assessment document with 3–6 prioritised AI use cases for your business. Each one with an ROI indication, an effort estimate, a feasibility score and a clear recommendation on the architecture: cloud, on-prem or hybrid. Plus a roadmap proposal you can carry forward straight away.

How long does the assessment take?

1–2 days, depending on the size of your business and the range of use cases. On-site or remote. The assessment is typically in your hands in writing within a week of the session.

What does an AI potential assessment cost?

Fixed price CHF 5,000–15,000, depending on format and the size of your business. A 1-day or 2-day audit. If you then decide on implementation, the day rate of CHF 2,200 applies.

Is my SME too small for AI?

Usually not. From around 20 employees, there are enough recurring processes that at least two to three worthwhile use cases exist. Below 10 employees, a single tool is often enough. Then you don't need an audit, and we will tell you so.

Do I need Swiss-hosted or on-prem AI?

That depends on what you process. Personal data, fiduciary mandates, patient data or protected IP: then very likely yes. For many office workflows, cloud AI such as ChatGPT Enterprise or Copilot is enough. The assessment clarifies this per use case, individually and concretely.

Will my employees be replaced?

Not by what we recommend. Our audits prioritise augmentation over replacement. Human plus AI beats human alone. Your people become more productive, not redundant.

What is the difference between an audit and a workshop?

The audit is an assessment: analytical, written, produced by us. The workshop is a joint working day where your team develops use cases itself. Audit means we deliver. Workshop means we facilitate.

What happens after the audit?

You decide. You can implement yourself, implement together with us (CHF 2,200 per day), or hand the implementation entirely to us. No lock-in. No obligation.

Is this revDSG-compliant?

The recommendations are checked against the revised Swiss Data Protection Act, in force since 1 September 2023. This does not replace legal advice. For regulated industries, we additionally recommend legal guidance.

Can we sign an NDA?

Yes. The standard NDA is signed before the session.
